Default Just printed and sold my first poster

Came out better than I thought it would. The local lab I used was a bit more than I expected but the quality was well worth the cost.

can't wait to see the clients face when he picks it up

Cost varies but this one is being sold at cost plus $10 as a homie hookup.
Pics of said image..sorry no can do right now as it is a gift for his friend and I do not want to run the risk of damaging the surprise right now, but it is an image of mine featured in an issue of Crawl magazine.

Is the process for printing a poster the same for printing photos? (in the photo lab of course)

Price range is anywhere from $65 and up and varies according to size and if I am doing a limited run or not. 15 images to public is my limited run as opposed to most who run anywhere from 125 up to 1000 prints and call it limited. Once I hit 15 prints only one more is made for my private ownership labeled as number 0 and the file is archived never to be printed again.

Nowadays most big prints are made from digital files, either scanned film or straight from a digital camera. Nightshade shoots with a dSLR. The only difference is that to make bigass prints, the lab uses a bigass printer. h:

Here's my local spiffy lab's little blurb about their poster prints: http://www.cameracompany.com/showpages.asp?pid=1066
