anybody have screen shots?
The first screen shot shows some arrow glass feature (trust me there are more cool features when MS came to demonstrate). Notice how the screen translucent over the desktop.

The second screen shot is with arrow glass feature turned off, look like normal windows XP.

The third screen shot is of the Control Panel.

These are all Beta 1 screen shot, but so far I see no problems.

nope, don't like the translucent things.

XP looks fine. They need to fix how it works and get the DRM crap out of it.

Wait... so, they're FINALLY adding OSX like interface features into it, BUT it will take a gig of ram to run office, and 2 gigs to game?

And that's just interface features. It still goddamned windows. I swear I don't know how Microsoft stays in business releasing products that are functionally 4 years old against the competitor's products

PCs only really have FPS and RTS games to brag about. I play the games I like on my PS2 and Xbox (Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy, Makai Kingdom, Beyond Good and Evil, Gran Turismo, Conker's bad fur day, etc etc) and I use my computer for work. If it wasn't for me having to use a .NET app day in and day out (Don't even get me started on this app. For starters it's way too much of a resource hog), I would be using my work mac right now.

Market share does not indicate a good product. Look at McDonalds h:

I have Build 5308 I think. I'm going to try installing it again next weekend.
