Welp...just got off of the phone with the Loan department of the UFCU...I'm pre-approved for the $5,500. I'm gonna finance that bitch for a long ass time (6 years) so that I can get a lower car payment. My payment will be $103 on the dot...which is about a 10.4% interest rate...the rate sucks, but it's better than the 11.75 I had on the Integra. So if all goes well...I'll be going Wednesday to get it.

why the hell are you gonna finance $5500 over 6 years? you're gonna end up paying $7500 for it by the time you pay it off!

I was going to do that just to keep my payment down b/c I can't afford a whole lot right now. But it doesn't matter anyways, I called the guy today and he has a guy that's going to buy it today anyways. So no go...I gotta start the search again.

Not around here. Usually the interest rate is based on the age of the car. I had a 10.25 rate on my 99 Si.
