I hate telemarketers they just called on the phone line at work....How are they gonna call me and tell me to call them back..WTF..Tell me about your Telemarketer story, Sometimes i like to drag them on and then hang up.

 

Yea they do that here too.

I just start mashing buttons until they hang up.

Last one that I actually got someone on the phone I asked them to hold on while I get someone, I just set the phone down next to my pc and they were still on hold after 7mins. I just decided to hangup after that.

 

When they call me at my house, I tell them I'm going through a tunnel and start making static noises.

By the time they make the connection I've hung up.

 

This lady from the middle east keeps calling too something about yellowbook dot com or something...i keep telling her im not interested but she keeps calling back...like she thinks i dont know its her or something...I hung up on her one day and her boss called me back..asking what happened...lol

 

I like Jerry Seinfeld's approach:

Jerry: Hello?

Telemarketer: Blah blah, switch long distance, blah blah.

Jerry: I'm sorry, I can't talk right now. How about you give me your home number and I'll call you back.

Telemarketer: Sorry sir, I can't do that.

Jerry: Oh because you don't want to be bothered at home?

Telemarketer: Well, yes...

Jerry: Well now you know how I feel. *click*
