So I wake up this morning to find Ad-ware running and a new spyware program I've never seen before. Spyware Quake. Sure enough I look under my programs and it says a new program was installed, so I uninstall it. Three minutes later its there again. I ran my spyware programs and it caught it, but it keeps coming back. I also have this funky thing...

If you're using Lavasoft Ad-Aware, get something new. I was using it too until I read an article that had tested the different spyware/adware programs and Ad-Aware scored very poorly. Use either Spyware Doctor or Microsoft's Spyware program.

 

I'm using MS's, Ad-ware and going to get Spybot.

 

adaware + spybot + hjt = win
