Default Lets talk about dyeing vinyl.

I know some of your were former ricers and probably dyed your interiors yellow h:

What kinda stuff did you use? I am thinking about dyeing some hard nylon. I know that this isnt paint, so it is not like it is going to be sticking on the surface. But I dont know of any specific dyes that can absorb into hard nylon. Do you guys? Here is what I am trying to color.

Rattle can that shit.

Works fine and lasts fair athough if you handle it a ton you will have to respray it. All the guys I know that camo and custom colour their guns just use good rattle to do it.

It looks like dye will last much longer than paint if I can get it on that type of material. The way my rifle is handled, I see it getting abused and scratched easily.

its a non pourous surface, im not sure they make a dye that will take to it. your best bet is to get an enamel like John said spray paint will probably be best & easiest...
