Volk Lugnuts vs. OEM
Other than colour, what's so special about these Volk lugnuts?

They are super light weight and utilize their own special key to remove them. I've got WORK lugs on my S1's and they are just as light, but aren't locking so I've been looking at the Rays. The longer lugs you see are just "extended", my friend has them on his S2K.

The locking lugs are very easy to take off.

Tell us something we don't know. It just acts as a deterrent (sp).

Yea usually 2oz+. But RAYS are made of Duraluminum so they are strong, light, and look good on aftermarket wheels.

Not much of a deterrent as they are easier to take off then OEM locking lugs.

there you go.. i think that's the only legitimate reason to get them. that, and of course if they seat correctly vs. a stock lug.
however, i doubt ~5oz per wheel will be noticed.. as for their strength, yeah, i don't doubt they're strong, but so are stock lugs. they have to be.
so, imo, volk lugnuts vs oem.. why? looks.
