Default I think i was scammed.....

back in the beginning of February i ordered a ViS carbon fiber hood for my civic on ebay, payment went thru about 6 days later through PayPal. now its been over a month and still no hood. i sent the seller emails and asked them wat was up and if at all possible, could they send a tracking number or let me know wats up. their response was "we dont deal with this stuff, you'd have to call the sales department on that", yet they provided no damn number! im giving it til monday at the latest before i report them and call the authorities but i urge everyone to stay away from the seller: carboninnovations, on ebay at least until i get my money back or my hood

File a complaint with Paypal.

I wouldn't even let it go that long; I'd contact PayPal immediately and file a complaint. Hopefully everything works out for you man, sorry to hear this.

If it were me, I'd use a credit card. Not only will it be tracked through paypal, but also through your credit card company. Also, if you were scammed, you could put a stop payment on the credit card. I'm slightly drunk though, so my apologies if my logic seems lacking. :happysad:

yeh i used a credit card through paypal its much safer that way. i guess from now on i'll shell out the extra bucks and buy my parts from the actual dealer and not a side company on ebay.

yeh you guys are right, im gonna file the complaint now. they want to dick around with me and i really dont feel like losing 500+ dollars. hopefully my hood's on its way and this can all be avoided. i wouldve expected this from a private seller not an ebay company but i guess anyone can be crooked nowadays
