I saw it a couple weeks ago. I thought it was pretty damn good, personally, althought I was pretty drunk at the time. I'm surprised it wasn't met with more protest/noise/etc... If it were set in the United States, I'm sure a bunch of bible-beaters and rednecks would've boycotted it.

The overall point was good, I think... and to be honest, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if a similar sort of neo-facism came about in the next decade or two--judging by the current attitudes of a significant portion of America.

Guess I'll have to buy the DVD from what you are saying...also from the previews that I've seen on TV, it seems to be the type of movie that I like. I just got done watching Kafka's "The Trial" screenplay written and directed by Orson Welles.
