I saw it a couple weeks ago. I thought it was pretty damn good, personally, althought I was pretty drunk at the time. I'm surprised it wasn't met with more protest/noise/etc... If it were set in the United States, I'm sure a bunch of bible-beaters and rednecks would've boycotted it.
The overall point was good, I think... and to be honest, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if a similar sort of neo-facism came about in the next decade or two--judging by the current attitudes of a significant portion of America.
