Yeah...it's a good learning experience I guess...and it's not really too bad. Insurance will cover it, and I don't think will go up...no points, no other cars, and no previous at fault claims...no claims period for a long time.

no claims for "a long time" wont matter when it comes to insurance rates.

however, if you claim this out of your comprehensive (and not the collision) portion of your policy, you'll be straight.

With state farm, you get one claim every 2 years w/o penalty.
