Ok. I don't have the stock Potenzas, and I blame nothing on the tires...although they are some shitty tire that I've never heard of. I blame everything on myself. I'm not quite used to driving a higher powered rwd car. It was a little wet from a shower that had just passed, not too bad. I made a right turn at an intersection, and gave it a little gas as I pulled out of the corner. At this point the back end snapped out, and I countersteered but overcorrected, sending me into a 180 into the curb with the right rear wheel. I wasn't taking it too fast, I just gave it more gas than I should have for the conditions. I blame this 100% on myself not being used to the car. As Rich said, I pulled a Quimbo as well....seems to be the trend eh?

As for the rest of the story. I called AAA to bring a flatbed out, and of course they send some piddly little truck. Apparently, the AAA person neglected to tell the tow truck company that I needed a flatbed and the car was immovable by me (which I explicitly told her). So then they send another tow truck out, also not a flatbed...and he calls a flatbed. By this time, about 40mins has passed, when an officer comes flying down the road with lights and sirens blaring. Here we go. He gets out, asks me what happened, I tell him. Then he says we have 2 options: either make a report in which he would find me at fault for taking a corner too fast, or pretend like it never happened because there was no damage to city property, and it was a single car incident. Obviously I took the latter option o:. The cop was super cool the whole time. At the same moment we were discussing the no report filing, the flatbed pulled up. Tow truck driver did an awesome job getting the car up without causing any more damage. I was not hurt, it was pretty low speed...so everything ended up about as well as could be expected. And I know you whores, here are pics.

Rear rt brake rotor cracked/broken, rear wheel damaged...I'm guessing some rt rear suspension/axle damage...and obviously a little cosmetic shit. All in all, pretty minor. I havent decided if I feel like getting under the car for more inspection. o:

But, I'm ok...thanks for the kind wishes everyone...I'll be back on the road in no time.
