what were you when you first went online?

back in 97 i was in yahoo chat rooms being a troll. i remember pissing off alot of people in the academy awards chatroom. then i found han and i was a ricer for a while but thats all in the past

I remember back in about 96-97 attempting to download music from the original Napster on a 56k... man... talk about teh suckage. I remember thinking people with 300 songs had a shit load of music :lmao:

back in '94, i was in these chat rooms that found from this king's quest cd, before aol was really around.

then there was aol chat rooms.

then mp3 ftps.

then web programming.

now, han.

 

i remember using macs, netscape navigator and yahoo's search thingie in school. :chuckles:

 

played games online such as yahoo! pool and lurked chat rooms

 

November of 1997 ... I downloaded SNES roms like there was no tomorrow.

I soon moved onto MP3s. I'd go though http sites and download one song at a time ... one zip at a time. If a link was broken, guess what ... you had to wait till someone fixes it.

 

94 or 95 got aol. soon as i got on, did the mp3, warez thing. joined groups. did uploading for groups and art for proggies. used to <>< and punt and tos...all that crap h: tried to create proggies but failed miserably, haha. did the whole aol chat room thing for years. at the same time, was in mIRC getting warez and trying to mingle with the i33t h:

I remember being on AOL in 1996 and some chick (at least I hope it was a chick) engaging me in my first experience with cybersex. :chuckles:

 

Back when i first got on the internet i remember having cyber sex in a chat room with some chick thinking it was cool and getting a kick out of it....Then shortly after we got Prodigy Internet at home. Id download music off of napster...then id hook it up to a receiver and make MP3 tapes to listen to on my walkman...Then i would play starcraft until my mom yelled at me and told me to get off the computer.
