I have my PS2 and one desktop connected via Cat5 to my Linksys BSFR41 router. I added a Linksys WAP several weeks ago and whenever someone starts using the wireless network, I lose connection on my desktop? Can anyone clue me in?

I'm gonna guess it's the kind that's designed to control the hardware of a data-processing system to allow users and applications to make use of it.

To me, it seems like a router firmware issue. But, you could access the router and see if you have any ip conflicts.

I thought it was too. For the longest time it was on a firmware that dated back to 2002. I've since then updated it to the latest one which was released in 2004. But I haven't power cycled my router yet, should I do that even though when I look up the router settings it shows the newest firmware?
