Default Pls help.

I'm convinced that nobody frequents the civic forum anymore. oh well. Anyone in here willing to offer some help on my clutch install? here is what is happening:

Ok, installed a new clutch on the civic (96 civic EX). Everything went well with a few exceptions. Went to start for the first time, starts fine. Clutch pedal works, moves the clutch fork etc. I can hear it engage / disengage the tranny in neutral. Put it in gear, release the clutch, the car doesn't move. Like i said, i can hear the tranny engage when i release the clutch in neutral (tranny is old...gonna replace eventually). Can also hear it whe i release it in 1st gear or reverse (didnt try any others). The car does not stall either. Basically, it seems like its gripping the tranny, but not enough to move the car or stall...

anybody?
