back on topic.....

i think its either a driver or codec issue. I had a bad/corrupt codec that froze explorer whenever i highlighted a wmv file.

hmm, good point. I haven't had any issues running music files or other movie files. :dunno:

Although, I've noticed my java s/w doesn't work on sites that it used to work with. Of course, it's not all sites with java, just some.
