I still need the wireless router to provide dhcp services for any attached wireless devices. If I disable dhcp on the wireless router, do I just assign a static ip to my wireless enabled computer? Will this then allow me to go through the wireless, through the wired router, and on out to the internet?

 

with dhcp in the wireless disabled, the wireless clients should pull the ip from the wired one.

i was doing that with a belkin wireless and d-link wired for a while
