The IS is the roxor. I've had mine for about 6 months now and I love it.

Handles extremely well, has decent pick-up and plenty of room. Plus, Lexus is #1 in consumer reports. h:

Go for it!

Lexus is the shit.

Engines are solid and so are the chasis. My moms 97 es300 NEVER went in for a tune-up or anything and it was solid for 160k miles when a o2 sensor went out then we found a lot of other stuff but only ran $1k total (including install and was earlier this year just if you want a time range). They are great quality cars, go for it. Make sure you get an auto though, toyota auto > toyota man. My moms shifts at 6k rpms (red line is around 6500) if you floor it and it is pretty quick.

I would get one. That 2jz motor has a lot of potential and the cars are solid. I would get it in a stick though...just more sportier.

u really cant go wrong with the 2JZge powerplant and the interior is saucy. its basically a non turbo supra thats lighter and shorter, which makes for good handeling. paddle shifting is a plus too, if i could afford one i would have one.

I like 'em. Get a manual, some minor suspension tweaks and a turbo and you're set.
