My car frustrates me sometimes!
Ok, so tonight I decided to put in the new axles and suspension now that the clutch install is done...ball joints are still fine, so i decided to reuse. Wish it were that easy. the fawkers keep spinning b/c they're broken in. Any tricks on a civic that i'm missing? I sprayed the hell outta them w/ pennetrating oil and decided to let them sit...then i changed the oil and di some other stuff...
Other problems i ran into: getting the damn axle nuts off (took a 5 foot pipe, heat and crossed fingers), getting the hub off (5lb sledge hammer), broken mount bolt, and getting that damn tranny back in. Its amazing how 10 years makes a car harder to take apart!@$:blah:
cliffnotes: trick to getting the damn crown nut on a used balljoint? can i just use the impact gun then torque?
