i'm writing a pamphlet, about 20pages.. what program can i use?

Default i'm writing a pamphlet, about 20pages.. what program can i use?

to format the book so i can have it ready to send to the printer? .. i have some illustrations in it too, that i have made in illustrator

its gonna be 4.25"x4.25" square..

its gonna be printed.. but i'll probably make a pdf copy after

if you're looking to have it set up like a little magazine (printed on both sides, two pages per sheet, and two staples on the fold), then you'll need to use acrobat. plug ins, booklet maker, set the set up for saddle stitch, and when you send it to the printer, make sure to should duplexing/doublesided printing.

you'll need to make sure it's laid out right, though, given the sizing.

i have it in word right now ... i havent really used it to format a pamphlet before and its really tedious to get everything right, and i dunno if i can import vector images into it? but ya.. would like to try something else thats designed for what i need
