I've got a flyer at the office that we give to patients who are newly diagnosed with HIV or who are worried about contracting it. It breaks down the different risk levels associated with the various ways it's possible to contract HIV.
I'll snag one tomorrow and post it up.
And no, it's not possible for HIV to just magically "appear", someone somewhere along the line has to have been infected in order to spread it. I thought this was covered in like basic high school science and biology?

Well if you have multiple partners and are having unprotected sex then that is how disease begins.
So if you go on a spree and have unprotected sex with 100 virgins in a year then you could be the spreader of the disease. Most likely it would be something like herpes, gonnerhea (sp?), etc. but after a period of time going unchecked these diseases mutate and become a variant and gain strength. Whther or not it would eventually develop into AIDS or HIV I don't know but that would be the progression.
