so im supposed to go to brooklyn this weekend. i was gonna drive with my friend and split gas with him, but he cant go anymore. i dont really feel like driving alone to the city, which would be the cheapest way.

so anyways, im pretty much broke, but my mom said she would give me $300 to take the train, bus or whatever to get down there and have some money. i feel really bad taking the money though. she says she doesnt care and wants me to take it.

i dont know what to do, if i tell the girl im going to see that im not coming, im gonna feel even worse

 

So if you're gonna feel worse if you don't go, then you already know your answer

 

Go and visit the girl, take only what you need to get back?

 

Take the money, disappear to a friends house for a few days, come back home still with 300.

 

300 Bucks that seems a bit much just use what you need and when you get back give your ma's the rest left over

Roundtrip with Greyhound is 118...that seems a bit high but i think thats because its this weekend, usually its half if your 7 days before you depart.

if you go by train you can have her pick you up...
Coming from Syracuse the train should not cost that much..
But if 300 is all your taking to NYC for the weekend you'll be broke by sunday..
NYC is Expensive especially the Night Clubs
