Hmm, yea that looks like one of the sensors that go on the back of the block, I'm not sure what one it is though.

Looks like the temp sensor that goes at the top water inlet.

It is either a clutch switch or brake switch for a non-cruise control Honda. It screws into the pedal assembly and is actuated by the brake or clutch pedal.

hmm, what is the purpose of this?

and I am pretty sure you are right cause there is a black button that you can push down on the top

A clutch switch sends a signal to the ECU telling it that the clutch is depressed, allowing it to start.

There's no possible way that could be an O2 sensor people, it's WAY too small...and looks nothing like an O2.

Dubcac is right about the clutch switch. It also tells the computer to shut off cruise control, iff equipped. If it is the Brake switch, it is for a non-cruise control car like a CX, VX, HX, because it only has two leads on it. Cruise control equipped cars have a four lead brake switch.
