went for a ride last night
ok, so my buddy has an STi, no big deal, catless, 3" turboback, you know, the whole basic setup...
well he just got his 55lbs/min compressor in (sr55) took me for a ride
the first ECU setting he had it on when i got in the car was actually his DD setting for 11lbs of constant boost (about 300 horse with a nice smooth curve) so he floors it, i'm like thats nice... well little did i know he had 2 extra maps in store
he nonchlantly swtiched to the more powerful map... needless to say i nearly shit my pants and i have been left wanting a nice 390 AWHP for myself...

STi's are badass. My friend's shop did an FPGreen turbo, FMIC conversion, Eutek, bigger injectors, clutch, flywheel, and a bunch of other shit to the shop STi. Dyno'd at 422WHP, I ripped it out of the parking lot in 3rd gear and went sideways.

Oh, I wouldn't know. In New Hampshire? Wildcards is really into the Subaru fiasco, so they may have done it if it was in the region.
I tried finding pictures of the STi but they're not on the site. But yeah, they've been building/racing Subaru's forever.
This was their 2002 WRX circuit car before they had the STi. Doesn't make gobs of power, but the 2.0 is a POS compared to the 2.5. Plus it was made more for the twisties.

Take the same hp/weight in a rwd or fwd car, and it will get raped from a roll and in the higher gears. It's just the physics of awd...more drivetrain loss.
