I am not surprised... I just want it out so I can wait 3 years then buy it for alot cheaper and have alot more games out

I really am not super impressed with the 360..my roommate has one, but to me it just seems like the same old xbox console with I guess some better graphics...I dunno bought all this hype about it being some godlike machine...:dunno:

and as far as the Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD debate goes, it will end up panning out like the huge DVD+R or DVD-R debate..it will prob just force a dual format player...which in return will be forced to be backwards compatible to DVD

While backwards compatability is not required by the Blu-Ray spec, it's very easy to make Blu-Ray players that will play DVDs, and I doubt any blu-ray player to hit the market early on will be blu-ray only.
