Time limit on how long someone should hold onto him?

oh yeah, good question. well, i don't want people to feel rushed so that the pictures don't come out as good as they can.. what do you think? 5 days? 1 week?

although, if we allow it to be out for too long, updates may take forever, and people may lose interest. i'm afraid of that too.

oh yeah, the next recipient has the right to decline the person wanting to send to them, in case for whatever reason they don't want to give their address to that person.. :chuckles:

i do want at any one time a person to only have access to one address. privacy FTW!

Question: Why dont you guys just print the picture out seperately and just do it like that?, and take pictures with it like over this weekend, cause you will also run into a problem if someone loses him, also it would save everyone money for postage, and it leaves the sense of everyone still remaining anonymous. Plus you will see results quicker cause if he stays 5 days with someone, this thread would be a year long ordeal, when you can just get some pretty hilarious pics this weekend and they can be posted by Monday. You'll get the same result but with a quicker turn around.

also, not everyone has the same printer. not everyone will print it out the same way, the same size, the same color. not everyone will have it on the same material.

and most importantly, it's not the "flat stanley" way.

we could certainly do it that way, but it's an entirely different concept. one that i'm not really interested in. i'm interested in actually seeing one object travel the country, and have the travel documented.

i also think that each picture set will get that much more attention if it's coming up one at a time. i mean, i think it'd be really cool. "let's see where this guy is now, awesome." instead of, "hey, look at that bad clone sitting next to whatever..... eh"

and anyway, even if postage were $1, which i don't think it will be that high,
what's the big deal? you spend that much buying a candy bar that you'll crap out 2 hours later.. :run:
