stopped in york, PA to find a bar on our way to work tuesday night, the bar was nice, friendly people and what not, but the state itself sucks as*.

there was a beer store, so we were all excited that we could get some for the road...........NOPE you can only buy a 12 pack at a time there. you cant buy it at gas stations or anything. all the stores that sell cases close at like 9:30 or something like that.

needless to say, we didnt exactly make it to work tuesday night......

 

We can't buy beer in grocery stores or gas stations either.

 

i know, marylands like that too.


i guess im lucky i live in new york, we can buy beer at gas stations grocery stores, wal-mart(and any like stores) until 2:30-3:00 in the morning

 

I'm glad NC isn't like that...I buy booze at Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Golf Courses...pretty much everywhere, lol.

 

pennsyl-tuckey sucks! 30 packs are like 25$, compared to 15$ here.

Eh...I'm so used to it that it doesn't bother me. State law prohibits beer distributors to stay open past 8pm on Friday & Saturday (5:30pm on weekdays, just allowed a FEW to be open on Sunday). Liquor can only be bought in stores owned and run by the state. Bottle shops are all we got to get us drunk on beer late night.

Where the hell do you work that you need to drive to York from NY?
