LOL! That happened to a friend of mine in York, PA. We were going to post his bail, however, they released him that night.

Call the jail tomorrow and find out what the charge is, and the bail amount. Don't go through a bail bonds place, because you wont get the $ back. Post the entire bail amount, and if he makes all his court dates, all the $ will be refunded. He'll have one call, so either he'll call his parents and they will call you, or he'll call you....and have you take care of it, or call his parents.

They'll probably release him in the morning....he's probably not going to be charged, just thrown in the drunk tank overnight.

In most cases public intoxication is only an overnight in a holding cell or until he sobers up. I'd still call the jail tommorrow though just in case.

yeah... i got the "DUI" one... my own cell for the night...it was all warm and comfy in there... i passed out nicely... got a full strip search from officer garcia b/c they thought i had drugs on me...
