funny thing i just remembered.
this is when we had that huge snow storm.
3 days after the storm, I was driving to school. I took a left turn into a relatively small, quiet residential street that hadn't been plowed. It was covered with few inches of ice. Before I fully enter the street, I see an old dude (maybe 70 years old) jogging, or attempting to jog. He was picking his way through the ice, therefore he was looking down.
I came to a complete stop, knowing that it was tremendously icy. It's a very narrow road and I was afraid my car would slide and hit him. While I'm stopped there for a good 5 seconds, the old man finally looks up, about 10 feet away from my car. He gets a look on his face like, "oh shit" and fucking flat out falls on his ass. I didn't know whether to laugh or be worried. I called out if he was ok, and when he got up, he started cursing me off. I've never heard a guy that old curse like that either .
I gave him a friendly finger and drove off.
