The Morgan Aero 8 is actually pretty advanced. The old ones used wooden frames and pretty archaic technology, but the new ones are pretty cool. They use the BMW 4.4 liter V8, aluminum chasiss and frame components, etc.

Too bad the front is ugly as fuck.
