the price the 2001 is ugly and goes for arroun 12K here while the 2003 is like 22K.

EDIT i aint a baller looking a 15-17K car... not more.

you get what you pay for. Jeep is the only american brand that doesn't look or feel cheap.

15-17k canadian or american. big difference in price range there

i know... i am not saying it's not worth it i am saying i cant afford it. i cant justify it.

CAD but apparently the prices just arent that same in US and here. i posted the ones that are arround my budget. and obviously the cheaper the better

I am sorry, but I am gonna have to disagree slightly.....Jeep engine/drivetrain..solid as a rock...Jeep interior...cheap

13k CAD...isnt that like the equivalent of a happy meal here? :fawk:

CRV if you want a commuter car with all-wheel drive, Xterra if you want a vehicle you can actually take off-road. The CRV has great reliability, driveability, and ergonomics, but is underpowered and is something of a "chick's car." The Xterra has rugged styling, acceptable power in the V-6 versions, and good off-road ability, but is relatively rough on regular roads and very trucklike. A much more "manly" vehicle than the CRV, but not as good for commuting.

Somebody mentioned the RAV4, and while the brand new ones are nice, any used model is like a lesser version of the CRV. No reason to go for one over a CRV.

Of the poll choices, the CRV and the Xterra are the only ones I would consider - and your decision is essentially made depending on if you want an all-weather commuter or an off-roader.

i think i'll go test drive the xterra look decsent just kinda worried about the reliability and finish of the car.
