Only light beer I usually drink is Michelob Light. Other than that, I'll take one of the 21304134 variants of Sam Adams.

well, i like to drink the local brews wherever i am. so, while up in canada, i go for their stuff. at home, i tend to drink the new england stuff. sometimes sams adam, but i tend to prefer something else. vermont has a nice selection.

do they sell labatt blue in MA? probably. but chances are i'd go for long trail first if they were sitting right next to each other. whereas, if i were in montreal, i'd probably get the labatt..

this isn't always the case though. clearly guinness, bass, etc. isn't local.

i consider michelob to be a cheap beer. i don't care for that, budweiser (budweiser "select" is a joke, btw), coors, etc.. anything you might see drunken at nascar race, i don't like.

My favorite "light" beer would be...Miller Lite.
Worst? Keystone Light....oh god the horror!

 

I do not drink light / low calorie beers. That is a hard and fast rule.

And in general, I tend to gravitate towards darker, richer ales and stouts.
Sapporo is the one exception (in terms of color and body).
