can you connect your phone to a laptop and use it as a "modem" to use your ev-do service on said laptop, or is it only for browsing on your phone.

yeah...its not really a practical purchase h: Its more of a wow that would be fun to have. I would love to be connected anywhere that I go, but I dunno if I can justify the price, plus I dont know how well the coverage area holds up in real life.

You contradict yourself in terms of facts. First you say it's not practical...well, if you need to send/receive email, or need wireless for business purposes it beats the hell out having to go back to a hotel or find a hotspot. Especially where I live. Mind you the service is not meant for downloading mp3's and porn, which probably attribte for 90% of your browsing habits.

then you go on to say u are unsure of the coverage area, so you've drawn conclusions from something you have no facts, or first hand experience with.

Not trying to be a dick, but it would be one thing if you knew half of what you were talking about, and trying to pass on a opinion about it, rather than knowing nothing at all.
