are these any good? will they hold up (stay in place) like a regular punching bag? i looking for a bag but cant hang them off the ceiling.

yes, when the base is filled with water it takes some serious punching and kicking to move one of those.

there's a stand you can buy that sits on the ground and lets your bag hang from it. check out any sporting goods store.

Depending on what your training background is those should not move if filled with water. I have this one:


And as a 4th degree I can kick it across the room (bottom is filled with water). You could fill it with sand and it definitely will not move

I like it because if you get bored of punching it you can pick it up an smack your friends with the sand filled end

i prefer a sand bag... but that will do also... as Mike stated they shouldnt move especailly if you fill it with sand... i filled mine with water and it would inch its way across the room whenever i punch it and especially when i kicked it... *i just noticed i have the same one as Mike LoL*
