attn: gun crew re: this noob needs help.
ok, so i've never shot a handgun before. hell, i've never even held one. if i want to start, what should i do? just walk into the nearest shooting range? i'm pretty sure i just can't go in and blast away.

Personally I would go with a friend who knows what they are doing. Ranges here wont allow for a noob to go in along. Youre just asking for trouble. If you dont have a friend that owns a gun, some ranges offer classes.

h: Here a basic safety course is about $50, and extra if you use their guns and ammo. Then they cover the very basics of marksmanship.
