just saw lindsay jacobellis (US) blow the gold medal in womens snowboardcross on the last jump by showboating (method air?) and busting her ass. wow.

The winter Olympics suck this year...I've only watched the Mogul, something with Ohno, and som Luge here and there but its just not appealing.

yea she had teh race won, grabbed the board mid jump and crashed finishing second for the silver

She explained it off that she was having fun and thats what snowboarding is about :chuckles:

She shouldn't have got the big head. It's like if you don't stay humble or at least hungry for the medal you don't have a snowballs chance.

The tragic part is if she hadn't been so freakin' far ahead of everybody she probably wouldn't have thought to do a stunt near the end of the race. Sad being far and away the best but losing in the end. There's always 2010...
