like it or not it's going to happen. mainly because E36 M3 sedan was the most popular version of the E36 M3.

BMW kind of kicked themselves for not making E46 M3 sedan and with the E90 they will not make the same mistake.

 

Seriously, had they made an E46 M, it'd be a strong seller for sure. Though I do agree M's should not come in automatic, or convertible

 

the E36 M3 sedan sold better than the E36 M3 coupe? I find that hard to believe...I personally have only see a few M3 sedans, but M3 coupes are everywhere.
well, at least the E90 sedan doesn't look like ass, like the E36 sedan did. But if/when they ever make the E90 coupe, I bet it'll look even better.

the reason why you see more coupes vs sedans is because they made the coupe for 2 time longer than they made sedans. each year sedans were offered the M3 sedan out sold the M3 coupe.

have you seen the disguised e90 convertible pics? the coupe will look very similar to that.

I actually don't think the E36 sedan M3 looked that bad. The E36 was so boxy and had so much blank space behind the doors and in front of the rear arches in the 2dr version that it kind of looked like doors belonged there anyway.

The new car's appearance still doesn't excite me but I'm sure its performance will be excellent as usual.

 

Yes an automatic :yay: I was wondering if they came in automatics.
