meh...I never use dual layer for what I do with it. But if you bothered to actually look up the model, it burns at 8x DL.

I know its cheap... but is it a good deal? Wasnt that the one that was like $90 a few months ago last year?

everybody I talked to rec. this one. It has amazing reviews at newegg, and was cheap as shit.

Sweet! I want to get a dual layor for data dvds, music and movies.

Today I'm going down to a store to get a wireless digital music center! I'm excited.
