Default how much would you guys spend on a matress?

yepp just wondering.... i got a new bed-frame and need a new matress, i went to sleeptrain and they are really expensive the one i liked was $1500 which is a lil higher than what i was looking for..just wondering what you guys have spent on them? im still debating if i should or not i mean i will be spending most of my time in it and it is super soft, and its great right now since ita a lil hard to move in bed and it comforts my shoulder when i sleep on my side...
