I would say it's the best...and it was all downhill from there.
Wish I didn't lose the 2nd disc.

I got more into it than any other, I did like FFIII on SNES with the combo fight system, but it got too hard for meh:

materia system is the best system they ever thought of. That's one of the reasons I loved the game so much. I hated every idea they used after that...especially the orbs in FFX.

I remember playing FFIII back in the day and thinking how awesome it was...but I never finished it. I think Chronotrigger stole my attention.

I actually preferred just about everything in FFX to any other FF game except for two things... that damn orb system kinda made party formation kind of fuzzy, and the number of distinct and special characters in FF VI rocked me hard.

I thought it was a rather boring game. And voice acting kinda ruined it for me as well.

That's FFVI fool :airon:

Chrono Trigger was an EXCELLENT game though... Also, an oft-underappreciated games is Xenogears for the PS1. I rank that, in terms of my enjoyment, higher than any FF game... My only gripe is that the dub over the FMVs is HORRIBLE.

And yes, Chronotrigger was fantabulous.
