I doubt he could have saved what was left of his pinky, those gears prolly ground it up pretty bad. I've seen it happen before, the other guy was luckier though and didn't completely loose it just got alittle mangled. I understand accidents happen but man, you do not want your hand anywhere near shit like that while the motor is running
