Jet Li sets to retire w/ one last crazy film...
A Kung Fu Swan Song
With his new film, 'Fearless,' Jet Li achieves the kind of success increasingly elusive for martial-arts stars.
For Li, "Fearless"—which opened around Asia Jan. 27 to sellout crowds and wide acclaim—represents his own attempt to secure an indelible place on the big screen. " 'Fearless' is my last kung fu movie," says Li, 43. "I want to make that ultimate film for myself and the world."
i think its true about what the article says about martial arts films going increasingly high-budget w/ cinematography and digital effects while ignoring those people like bruce lee, jackie chan and jet li who did it all b/c they were ridiculously trained (in different ways, but still).
im sad this is his last movie...:bye:

i didnt like too many of the movies he made through hollywood, but most of his stuff coming from china and hong kong were so much better. IMO the movie Unleashed was one of his better ones. but yeah, hes gettin older. it would be a good time for him to settle down, or at least w/ doing stuff on-screen.
