I have loads of acquaintances and a select few that I would call real friends. And then there are the booty call group. They dont count as either.

I've had this discussion with many people before and I always come to a conclusion, that you can only classify certain people 'friends'. I've never 'hung out' with the same 'group' of friends, however, you know they're true friends when they're really there for you when they said they would be.

I have friends which I see once a month, if even at that, and when we do see, it's like we always start where we left off. These are true friends whom I consider to be like family- brothers and sisters.

I've learned that, in life, you should really be careful who you choose as friends.

yeah, i feel the exact same way about myself, and my cloose friends.

my gf's friends - although they're cool at times - are more of acquaintances than anything. they make judgements on my character, and they dont even know me. i'm beginning to feel the same way about my gf.

I have a bunch of friends... theres probaly 5 i would consider really close and then my best friend since like middle school, knows just about everything about me

you consdier me family how nice. that is a good perception of people. i feel the same. its pretty hard to find a friend where you can start where you left off after you havent seen each other in a while. i only have one of those.
