I disagree with the notion that the disease will be the direct result in the death of humans. I think that if a disease occurs there will still be a small percentage that is immune, but most will die because of food/water shortages, etc. But there is still a chance for the survival of the human race.

Im going to say the death to humanity will come from a meteor/asteroid/large rock that was unobserved. However even the chances of this are awfully small because Jupiter is our guardian angel.

 

Charlton Heston will go up in space and travel through a time vortex, traveling to the future where apes can talk and humans can't. After a bunch of other stuff happens, he gets shot by the apes while trying to diffuse a nuclear warhead, and as he dies he accidentally triggers the warhead and blows up the planet. But a couple of the apes from the future travel back in time in his old spaceship and change stuff around in the past so maybe this doesn't actually happen after all.

really...theres just way too many variables...

from cosmic disasters, to resources running out...to the highest possible in my eyes, a world war, the only way i believe the people of earth will unite to one cause and not obliterate each other with nukes would be aliens attacking us... h: and even then... some people will choose different sides...because its better to be the pet than the cattle

 

I do not know with what weapons World War 3 will be fought, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones.
