Not very smart, no, but if its a computer company or building, they would have the humidity correct as to minimize static electricity. We keep it at a good level in my house since my dad and I work on his computer sometimes. You just have to be careful what you touch and that the battery is disconnected.

Have you ever used one? I haven't but I haven't done alot of work on computers. Just helped built one a few times on carpet, in socks with 5 cats and 1 dog trotting around. As long as you're careful then you should be alright, but accidents can happen.
