picked out something nice, its an antique style setting with 2 side stones totalling .51 karats (one on each side), the band is engraved all around. the center stone is about a half a karat, i think she told me .53 karat

gonna call tomorrow and tell em to go ahead and get it ready, it should be done by the end of the week. they have to change the head on it to accomodate the diamond that size (it was just a mounting and it was set up for something a little bit bigger.

now i just gotta talk to her pops :nervous: i think we're going to see her parents this weekend so i wanna get that out of the way and maybe surprise her for valentines day

yah you did better than the other guys.... i wish i could afford big stuff like 1 carat diamond earings but... well i have bigger stuff goin on.... and as for cliche.... well i dont see much of stuff like that, all i see is big princess cuts on plain bands cuz all that money spent on a tacky big rick and none left for a setting that compliments it.... such a waste...

 

yeah she showed me stuff she liked last year and i took good mental notes... she'll be amped and one thing for sure she doesnt see it coming at all....

 

the setting i bought was way to expensive h: ..and because of the setting i bought i had to buy a matching wedding band too. :happysad: i'm going to the poorhouse
