Default Need advice: Ebay trouble

Ok so I bought something on Ebay. The guy said he shipped my item via priority mail like last week. Its almost 2 weeks now, and I know they can't take that long to ship since he's in Atlantic City, NJ and I'm in NYC. This was my first time using Ebay in four years, and I guess I should of known better as the guy sent them USPS and he didn't offer insurance or certified mail. So my question is I don't know whether my package got stolen or lost, since USPS usually just leaves shit or this guy sent them to the wrong address. I emailed him to verify the shipping address, but he hasn't responded. Anyways, this guy has pretty good feed back (100%, 85 feedback). So am I just out of luck? Who do I blame? The guy or the post office? And is there any chance of getting my money back?

If he used a Paypal made label, there should be a tracking number on there. See if he has that. But judging from the lack of response.... You can always start filing a complaint with Ebay and Paypal.

Keep sending him emails until he responds. If there is no response, cancel your payment through Paypal.

Sometimes when they send USPS you need a sig, call the post office and see if its there, after they try a couple of times to deliver it they will just leave it at the HUB and you would have to go down there and sign to get your package.
