330i, hands down. Never on God's green earth would I pick a Subaru over a BMW.

yes they are. :hs: too bad they're just getting uglier.
I do think the new 3-series has some potential to be really sexy, though.

The key is to get it in a dark colour, otherwise it looks like a riced out Civic.

I donno about you guys, but after driving the Sport Package and Non-Sport, I'm inclined to get the non-Sport package. The $2500 I save can go into a set of Potenza S-03s

The G35 6MT is VERY enticing tho.

Anyone driven the new IS350?

The legacy GT is supposed to be nice and pretty fun but if the BMW is that much then whatever.

Legacy GT. No doubt. Just a fun, safe and nice looking car. Nicer looking that the new BMW's? Oh yeah.

That's a drag. I'm so thoroughly disgusted by the new designs, I'd find some way to keep the E39. Hell, I'd take a long look at the new A4 / S4 before considering the new 3. h:

... P.S. Dave I have a serious boner for the SRT, but the fuel economy thing makes me go flaccid all the same. Please tell me it takes 89 octane.
Sorry to piss on your fireworks.. but the SRT8 requires 91 octane or better.

Heaven -- and ANWR -- help us. :run:

New IS is not sporty enough for weekend events but it would make a decent commuter car. SRT's are meh, I know people who work at the plant and let's just say the build quality has issues.

Just ask your Dad to go test them out and he'll buy what he likes.
