now if you are talking about credibility, i believe your's went flying out the window when you said that the cartoon wouldn't turn to violence.
cartoon or not, the muslims be blowing things up anyways, because that's what the muslims do. unless i can see some of their works which is more humanitarian as opposed to barbarian.

you sir, are a moron. if the 1.3 billion muslims were all violent terrorists, you wouldnt be alive right now. it is likely that none of us would be.
tark spelled it wrong, ill spell it right. you have no credibility. you ruined it yourself. now gtfo
I think that these cartoons are only going to be used as an excuse to cause more violence and only justify it in the eyes of many. What happened to the freedom of speech? I thought that was the right of all democracies? I may not agree with what you say but having the right to say it is a fundamental right of all democratic nations.

depicting mohammed as a terrorist during these times = wrong
causing violence because of it = just as wrong, maybe even worse
freedom of speech is not the same as freedom of disrespect.
the problem is people push the freedom of speech as an excuse to shit all over anybody and anything with no respect or accord for how it a.) makes them look like an asshole and b.) affects other people. i think there is a such thing as taking any "freedom" too far.

I care about freedom of speech as much as you do, but common Mohammed as a terrorist is kind of pushing it dont you thin? It would be like depicting the Pope as a Nazi but instead of it just being 1 as a caricature, every week i come out with a new cartoon about the nazi pope!
It was obvious that it was wrong and the news papaer published it for the shock effect, it got way popular, protests are intensifying... The Islamic people are saying that it wasnt right to publish those cartoons (i'll agree that some are fanatics about it) but then alot "western civilisation" are saying well that what you guys are! which puts more gas in the fire and then you get what we have now!
P.S just as to point out that freedom of speech has always been censored, here in canada, if you were to put up a big swatzsticker flag the police would ask you to take it down...

I don't think it's right for the EU govts to say it's OK for the press to publish such cartoons. If the WSJ posted some anti-christian cartoons, I'd bet my checking account that 1) the president would censor it and 2) there would be a slew of violent acts committed.
