at my friends company they use Vonage. I've used it a few times and it works fine.

However, why not use MSN with a webcam and do video chat? unless the other party does not have a computer, webcam or internet access.

MSN video chat is how I stay in touch with my gf when one of us is on the road.

 

i used to work at twc doing support for their digital phone service among other things. i didnt have it myself but i talked to a lot of people who did. of course i only spoke with the people who were having problems with it, but if i were to decide to get voip i would go with twc.

 

rule of thumb, if you have to pay her $250 to take her shirt off over the internet she is not your girlfriend h:

I haven't tried it because I can't switch my number where I am and I'm waiting for an update to my router software first before I do anything.
