im not feelin too bad. tomorrows my last day at this place and so im just ready to get out. friday i have off to kinda hit my 'reset' button and i'll be at orientation monday.

i went to nairobi for 2 weeks before. well, kenya and tanzania in general. went to the bottom of mt kilamanjaro for a safari and it was SWEET. then later i had machine guns pointed at me close to where the US embassy building was bombed. h:

Actually 3 weekends about 40 hours so far, should be another 5 to six this weekend to paint and install drivers.

AF, you have any tips with using automotive paint for this application? Do I need to thin it down a little more or will it be ok out of the can?

I dunno, never sprayed speaker boxes. Just do some sample spraying on a similar piece of material and adjust the air/paint mixture as neccessary. Fine coats are much easier to work with, look deeper and are flatter than thick coats.

Remember to hold the gun 6-8" away at a 45 degree cut as well.

 

Yeah not the safest place to go but i still like it h: my girlfriends driver keep a gun in the car but It's pretty safe if you stay in the compounds. very nice vegetation too... I might go do a safary did you go to the Massai Mara lodges? my uncles own them h:

 

1. I sold something on eBay last night to a buyer in Canada. The buyer refuses to take the package unless it comes "Global Express", the only method that's trackable for US postal customers. "Global Express" is a $35 shipping method, I asked $14 for Parcel Post Airmail, the method listed in the auction.

If I keep his money and force ship the item via auction specified method, he'll say he never got it ... and I have no way to track it. I'll be out $50 and the cost of the merchandise.



2.eBay took down one of my auctions because I included the word "not" in the auction title. That's so gay beyond gay.



3. Tomorrow is my birthday. Friday I was supposed to go out to dinner with my family and girlfriend. The girlfriend has a sorority activity ... which I just heard about yesterday. Her plan?

Eat dinner with my family, go straight to the sorority function right after.

or

Get fined $30 by the sorority and spend dinner and the evening with me.


I said fuck it all. I don't want her to stuff her face and leave, I don't want the pressure, I don't want to feel rushed. The $30 thing is a fucking joke. I see that as Heather having to pay her sorority to see me on my birthday.

I'm not pissed at her, there's no way she meant for this to happen ... but this thing she belongs to isn't a job ... it's supposed to be for fun, and it consumes everything around her.

Either way, it's pathetic and I give up.

 

Trying to save on customs right? just offer him to put value lower then actual value.. no insurance tho.

Thanks, I have never done boxes either, but I have some experience with body panels and such with primer, never with color. My uncle would never let me spray color on his 69 Goat for some reason :dunno:
